"I recently visited Ammachide Kaippunnyam Kerala Restaurant on Sarjapur Road for a splendid breakfast, along with my famly and it turned out to be one of the most authentic Kerala dining experiences I’ve had in Bengaluru. This restaurant will be a great choice if you’re craving Kerala-style food or want to explore something beyond the usual South Indian fare. The place has a warm, homely vibe that immediately makes you feel comfortable, almost like stepping into a traditional Kerala household.
The menu is extensive, covering Kerala classics along with South Indian, North Indian, Mughlai, and even Chinese options. What stood out for me were the Kerala specialties — the fish curry, beef fry, and chicken dishes were flavorful and cooked with the right balance of spices. We tried fish curry, beef chaps and chicken curry. All were perfectly cooked really delicious. Portions are generous, and the pricing feels fair for the quality you get.
The ambience is simple yet pleasant, with enough seating to accommodate families and groups.
This restaurant features two floors, with the upper level being particularly well-suited for gatherings. It’s not overly fancy, but the atmosphere is enjoyable and welcoming. The staff here are courteous and attentive, making sure you’re comfortable and that food arrives on time. I noticed they were positive and hardworking, which really adds to the overall dining experience with a minimal time for serving the order. Note that, adjacent to the entrance, there is a chai shop offering traditional Kerala snacks. Across from the restaurant, an open area is available for parking. However, due to ongoing nearby construction, parked vehicles may be exposed to dust."

"A superb place to enjoy authentic Kerala food. Tried meals with fish at lunch last Friday. The taste was amazing. Each item in the meals had a unique flavour. The fish items were also well cooked and tasty.
The service was quick and the staff was very cordial.
Worth the visit. Will visit again to try more items."
"Horrible experience - went there looking at the reviews. Place is extremely dusty or dirty , looks like not cleaned for weeks. So let’s leave cleanliness part separate.
We ordered parotta, kallappam, chicken curry, puttu with pothu, tea and lemon tea. Parotta and tea were really good. Everything else was just ok edible but not tasty. kallappam was more like stone. Not sure how this restaurant has many good reviews.
They have cake, kerala chips, pickles on sale. Everything is dusty as if not touched for days.
They also have a tea shop with snacks item on the side. Seating arrangements inside outside and 1 st floor. Parking only in roadside which is limited parking. Service was extremely slow.
I will not recommend."

"Good Food and Service – Slight Room for Improvement
It was a great experience overall. The food was nice—especially the mango fish curry, which was really flavorful. I also ordered the fish fry; while it tasted good, it didn’t feel as fresh as expected. Still, it was enjoyable.
The service was courteous and efficient, and the seating capacity is quite good. Parking is available along the roadside, which is manageable. Apart from the fish fry not being up to the mark, everything else was great.
Please Note:- As always, my reviews are based solely on my personal experience and are completely honest. I’m not influenced in any way, and I understand that others may have different experiences."
"I have known this restaurant from the time when they were small scale. Their unique selling point was always the unique kerala flavours. After a while today i have visited them in their new establishment. Even though the food has stayed the same, the quality of service has come down. What i felt is there is no coordination between the staff hence orders and delivery are getting impacted. No one is bothered to check on you unless you call and the food takes an eternity to reach. And no one is bothered to check the table's upstairs. Anyway I hope they improve on these areas because i would love to see them grow even further."
