"Decent place for beef roast and chicken fry Kerala style. Just 1 staff and 1 front desk at 1pm on a Saturday. They were friendly. Service is quick.
Need to improve ghee rice i could taste no ghee. Rest of the dishes was very average. Ac and fans were available but not turned on, needed to request them. I would somewhere else for better Kerala taste and experience."
"Well i visited this place to have authentic Chennai dish - tried Pothi choru, chetti choru, squid fry, prawn fry and payasam. Overall food was a bit spicy for me as i don't have so much heat tolerance but yes payasam was delicious and prawns were delicious too.
📌 Heaven for spice lovers.
Great service and presentation of food."
"The food here tastes really good and is definitely the highlight of the place. The dishes are well-prepared, flavourful, and served in a very clean and hygienic environment. The staff is polite, cooperative, and takes time to explain the dishes in detail, which adds to a pleasant dining experience.
That said, the pricing is on the slightly higher side. Some dishes—like the beef roast—are served as single portions, whereas similar Malayali restaurants usually serve enough for two, despite being priced lower. Parking space is available for around 3-4 cars, and additional vehicles need to be parked on the roadside.
Overall, if you value great taste and cleanliness, this is a good place to visit, though portion size versus price is something to keep in mind."

"Today, on the occasion of Onam, my two friends and I went to the restaurant. It was overly crowded. They charged Rs 907 per person, but the food quality was not good at all. The sambar they provided was watery and lacked salt. The other side dishes (vegetables) were not tasty either. At the end, we tried the payasam, but it was overly burnt, so we left it as is (a picture is available). I do not know how people are liking this sadhya. A few days ago, I ate Onam sadhya at my office, and it was awesome. The sadhya they provided here was not at all comparable to it. The yelakki (banana) was the only thing I liked in the sadhya they provided.
I feel that due to the overcrowding, they compromised on taste and quality. Hopefully, this will reach them."

"I visited ACHAYATHIS RESTAURANT alone for a one-time try. I ordered Kizhi Beef Biryani and Mathi Fish Fry. The beef quantity was good, but the rice was not sufficient. I asked for a small bowl of Kerala-style white biryani rice (ready to pay extra), but they suggested a full bowl of ghee rice instead, which I couldn’t finish. Rather than pushing more items, they should focus on customer expectations.
After finishing the biryani, they informed me that the Mathi Fry wasn’t available - this should have been told earlier.
The restaurant is nice for families and has a good ambiance, but there’s no bike parking. Overall, it’s good if you want to try Kerala-style dishes once, but not a regular go-to place."
