The flavours were spot on, and it set the tone for the rest of the meal. The ambiance is pleasant but littlw noise due to crowd, the service is quick, and the staff is attentive. Whether you're visiting for Kerala-style dishes or just craving good seafood, this place is definitely worth trying. There was a long wait time specially during the weekend."

"Visited Kozhikode Star Restaurant in Qusais yesterday, and it was a satisfying taste of Kerala comfort food! We ordered parathas, fish mango curry, beef ularthiyathu, chicken 65, and tea—and each item brought something special to the table. The parathas were perfectly layered and flaky, just the way we like them. The fish mango curry stood out with its tangy, slightly spicy flavor that beautifully balanced the richness of the fish—definitely a must-try for fans of traditional Kerala-style seafood. The beef ularthiyathu was dry-fried with just the right amount of spices and coconut bits, full of deep, roasted flavors. Chicken 65 was crispy and well-seasoned, making it a great side to everything else. We ended the meal with a cup of strong, well-brewed tea, which wrapped things up on a comforting note. Service was quick and polite, and the prices were very reasonable. It’s a great spot for casual Kerala-style dining in Qusais. Will definitely be back for more!"

"I had a very bad experience at Kozhikode Star Restaurant in Karama, Dubai. We went there for a birthday celebration with my wife, children, friends, and relatives. We planned a surprise birthday cake cutting to make my wife, she is 7 months pregnant aswell. However, the managers and staff gave us very bad service, and in the end, she cried a lot.
