"My friends and I went here for lunch, and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. We waited over an hour for our food. First, they brought out the sides. Then, after a full hour, they served the main course — and only after another 15 minutes did the curry arrive. To make matters worse, some of the fried fish wasn't fresh, and the sides were a complete letdown — especially the coconut chutney, which was ruined. What made it even more frustrating was that other people who arrived after us were served before us. It felt like we were being ignored for no reason. Honestly, we paid for the meal, but it definitely didn’t feel like money well spent. I even feel uncertain about how my body will react tomorrow after eating that food. Think twice before coming here. Poor food, slow service, and zero value for money."

"Yesterday was my parents’ 35th wedding anniversary, so I planned a dinner at the Al Qusais branch of Tharavad Restaurant. The atmosphere and customer service were satisfactory, but unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. The quality and taste were far below expectations. We ordered several chicken dishes, but the chicken was very hard and not tasty at all. The pulav was poorly prepared, and the paratha was so hard that it was difficult to eat. Even the appam, for which they charge 3 DHS (same as the paratha), was not worth the price. If a restaurant charges this much, they have the responsibility to provide good quality and tasty food. I ended up paying 130 DHS for food that was neither tasty nor of acceptable quality. Overall, it was a waste of money and time. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone—there are many better places where you can enjoy tasty food and better value."

"We had dinner at your restaurant yesterday, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The food quality was inferior, and considering the high prices compared to other restaurants, it felt unacceptable. If customers are being charged premium rates, the food should at least be good and enjoyable. We weren’t satisfied with the meal, and it even caused discomfort later that night—we couldn’t sleep properly because of it. With this kind of experience, it’s hard to recommend or promote your restaurant to others. Very, very bad experience. Please don’t visit restaurants like this. The food quality was terrible, and it wasn’t worth the money at all. he atmosphere and the staff were truly wonderful — very polite and welcoming. However, the food was a major disappointment. The chicken we were served did not seem fresh, and it caused discomfort later. This isn’t the staff’s fault, but the kitchen really needs to improve the quality of the food. With better ingredients, the restaurant could offer a much better experience."

"Fairly reasonable place and food is also good. The best part, it won't be so tightly packed and neatly managed. The lunch is good and my friends who are nonveg guys liked it as well. Being a vegetarian, the options for me are limited but not so less. Price is reasonable too. Its an ok ok restaurant and not a great wow one - worth for what they charge, its really good in that way!"
