"The food at Aidu Restaurant was unexpectedly excellent and truly worth a visit if you enjoy South Indian fusion cuisine. I absolutely loved the concept of a limited menu—it’s refreshing not to be overwhelmed with too many items, and it clearly reflects the confidence they have in their dishes.
A special mention to the manager, Sheik, who was an absolute gem. His level of hospitality is rare in today’s busy metro life, where service often feels rushed or indifferent. He genuinely cares about the guests, is passionate about what he does, and has an impressive knowledge of every dish on the menu. His recommendations were spot on and made the experience even better.
With every order, the plating, taste, and sense of excitement were outstanding. Each dish took my palate on a journey through different layers of flavour—it was a delightful experience from start to finish.
Must-try dishes: Avakaya Annam, Fish Tikka, Prawns, and the Chocolate Junnu.
Highly recommended!"

"A pathetic service can ruin the whole experiance of having the food at Aidu! The place is only suited for a Max of 4 persons as the team is not efficient and not trained enough to deal big tables than that.
Service: I have visited on a Saturday with my family of 12. the initial service was good even though for all 12 of us there is only 1 single person who serves and no one else would be serving us or taking the order! the same person would serve and take orders. Either the place is understaffed and other staff from other tables wont even care for you as the table doesnt belong to them. Unless the service gets improved the overall experiance can be ruined. Even after complaining it to the manager. he sent 1 more person to the table to serve us .
Food:
the food tastes ok! either some of the food is over spicy, less spicy or not better at all. you need to ask a spoon every time they bring in some chutney as they wont give it and need to follow up every time.
Starters:
Mokajana Soup - 4.2/5
Kodi Keema Soup (N.V) - 4.1/5

"Food was great, Loved the recommendations. However, the same is not seen in the service. Everyone including the Manager is busy with a chit chat in the corner! Very inattentive staff. We had to ask for everything including serving, cutlery and straws each time. Reservation was not looked into well but that did not cause any inconveniences but the service did. They were over staffed seeing the number of people there but not enough when we need them. Even the bill was asked twice. This is a bright place but needs improvement.
Note: The review would not be negative if the service charges were not added."

"We recently visited Aidu Restaurant, and the experience was absolutely memorable. We ordered the Onam Non-Veg Sadhya, Guthivankaya Pulav, Paneer Ghee Roast, and Udipi Cutlet. Honestly, we didn’t know what to start with because every dish was bursting with flavours.
The Onam Non-Veg Sadhya was a festive treat — we’re not sure if it’s on the menu forever, since we think it was introduced for Onam and later extended. Please check with them, and if it’s available, it’s a must-try! The Guthivankaya Pulav was aromatic, with brinjal blending into the rice so beautifully. The Paneer Ghee Roast had that perfect balanced spicy flavour and just melted in the mouth. The Udipi Cutlet was crisp on the outside and soft inside, absolutely delightful.
Every bite melted like magic — full of flavour, comfort, and authenticity. Aidu truly stands out as one of the best restaurants, and we can’t wait to visit again!☺️"

"Went here randomly with a friend for dinner on a weekday. Nice concept and ambience. We got from their spl menu of newly introduced items. The chicken pungulu was the highlight of our meal. The milatary mutton biryani was good and flavorful and the kokam mocktail was just average. Overall a decent place to visit for south Indian food."
