"That Andhra Guy
Location: 3rd Floor, PVR Cinema, Mall of Jaipur
After watching Avatar: Fire and Ash, we were craving authentic Andhra-style spice and soul food.
That Andhra Guy delivered exactly that—it truly touched our souls! 🤌🏻🥹
What We Ordered
We tried the Non-Veg Thali, which was incredibly comprehensive and included:
Plain steamed rice & flavorful Masala rice
Non-veg curry & Non-veg fry
Veg fritters, Sambar, and Rasam
Raita & a choice of 1 Malabar Parotta or 2 Rotis
Authentic sides: Pickle, Podi, and Ghee
A sweet dessert and a variety of papadams
The Experience
Ambience & Service: The ambience is simple and clean. The staff was polite, and the service was impressively quick.
Taste & Value: The portion sizes are generous, and the food is amazingly tasty! The pricing feels very fair for the quality provided. 🤩"

"A really good Biriyani place in Jaipur. (Can't say the same about the rest of the menu). This place actually prepares Biriyani in the correct process instead of just mixing Gravy and Rice which is oil soaked like most of the places in Rajasthan. I have tried 3-4 kinds of Biriyani from here. All of them were really delicious. The South Indian Fryums are like Cherry on Top."
"I visited That Andhra Guy in Jaipur last night and had a really frustrating experience. I went there expecting a good chicken biryani, but things went wrong from the start. No one seemed interested in taking my order, and after a long wait, they brought me a half egg biryani instead of what I asked for. When I told them it was the wrong order, they said they couldn’t make chicken biryani anymore—even though it was just 10 PM.
The price was ridiculously high too—₹1600 for a full chicken biryani and ₹800 for half. For that kind of money, you’d expect good service and fresh food, but the biryani tasted like it was made the previous day and just reheated. The ambience wasn’t nice at all, and parking was a mess. Still, they expected me to pay the full bill. Definitely not going back."

"Very poor experience. Paid 408 for a MINI biriyani with 2 very small pieces of chicken and one boiled egg (menu price was 275 but I was asked to pay more). Biriyani was very average and not worth the price. Would not recommend, there are so many better options"

"Our experience with this place was really bad.
1- There was no one outside the restaurant to manage parking. The cars were parked in such a manner that they were blocking a lot of empty space which could be used if managed properly
2- After entering no one bothered to show us to a table or ask anything. They were simply not interested.
3- The menu was just a bunch of papers. I have never seen such a pathetic menu ever.
4- Ordered Podi idli, mysore masala dosa and another ghee roast dosa. Podi idli were just tiny pieces of idli with podi masala on top. The quantity was pathetic and was over in just 5 mins. Mysore masal dosa had very less masala. And then they took our ghee roast dosa to some other table. They objected saying they didn't order it after touching the dosa with their hands🤮and then it was brought back to our table. Also they didn't gave us water until I specifically asked later. Such a third class service.
4- Filter coffee and kokum soda quantity was really less according to the price as well. Kokum soda was not cold and i told them i wanted it chill.
Overall experience was pathetic. For someone who has lived in Hyderabad for a long time, this restaurant was a nightmare and the prices are very high compared to what they deliver. Not recommended at all. Please save your hard earned money."
