Taste of Kerala is truly a hidden gem! The place has a simple, no-frills setup — the ground floor is non-AC while the mezzanine floor is AC, though the ceiling upstairs is a bit low and seating is quite basic. But once the food arrives, you forget everything else!
The service here is absolutely fantastic. We were served by Raki, who was super enthusiastic and guided us through the menu with genuine passion. The restaurant is really lucky to have such a dedicated person on their team.
We ordered Chicken Pachamolak, Chicken Kerala, and Prawn Ghee Roast with wheat Laccha Kerala Paratha, and every dish was lip-smacking delicious. The authentic Kerala flavors were spot on!
They also serve complimentary Kerala papad, dahi boondi salad, and a variety of authentic chutneys, which are a must-try and perfectly complement the meal.
Overall, an amazing experience — fantastic food, warm service, and great value for money. We’ll definitely be visiting again and again!"

"We visited Taste of Kerala and had a really good experience overall. The place serves tasty, authentic food with nice service. Due to the crowd, the staff does struggle a bit with serving everyone on time, but they still manage with a positive attitude.
We tried the Sunday Special Veg Banana Meal, Coconut Chilly Roasted Chicken with Kerala Paratha, and Chicken Kizhi Parotha. Every dish was absolutely delicious — rich flavours and true Kerala taste. We’ll definitely be visiting again!
A special mention to the manager, who was extremely warm and attentive. He personally checked on every table, and when he noticed we enjoyed the payasam, he even served us some extra. Such gestures really make the experience memorable. 💛🌴✨"

"We had been there twice on our visit to Mumbai. They have ac and non ac sections and we chose the former. On a saturday we had reached at around 12.40 and it was minimally crowded. We had our food peacefully.
We had ordered Sardine rice and sambar rice that consists of matta rice, fish curry, upperi, Avial, Olan, papadam and fish fry. Along with that we had chicken biriyani. The food had very authentic Kerala flavour especially the fish fry. Payasam was also tasty.
On Sunday we reached at 2.30 pm and the restaurant was packed with 10-20 people waiting outside. We somehow got a table. This time we ordered beef and porotta along with the meals. The beef dry fry was not tender but we loved the other dishes.
If you ever want to try authentic Kerala food. I would really suggest this place
Special mention for the waiter who was really energetic and attended us with great hospitality."
"Delicious Experience!"*
I recently tried the Chicken Chittinadu, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Lollipop, Chicken 65, and Fish Fry, and I absolutely loved it! The flavors were spot on, and the dishes were cooked to perfection.
The Parata was also amazing, and it paired perfectly with the dishes. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

*Will I return?* Absolutely, I'm already looking forward to"
"I ordered veg biryani from Taste of Kerala on 13 October 2025, but I was delivered chicken biryani instead. This is a serious issue, especially for someone who does not eat non-veg.
I immediately went to the restaurant and showed them the delivered order. They said the owner was not present and asked me to return the food and come back the next day for a refund. I trusted them and handed over the food.
When I returned the next day, the owner refused to take responsibility and told me to contact Zomato instead. This was extremely unprofessional and dishonest.
This is not just a mistake—it’s a serious concern when non-veg food is served while claiming it is veg. Please be very careful. If the intention was to avoid a refund, they could have been honest instead of wasting my time.
I do not recommend this restaurant."
