"Absolutely amazing Kerala cuisine!
The flavors were authentic and reminded me of home. The sadhya was perfectly made with authentic flavors, balanced spices, and pure Kerala comfort on a banana leaf. The appam was soft and fluffy, and the beef roast was a true highlight - rich, flavourful, and cooked to absolute perfection. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable."

"A small cost outlet for a wide Kerala delicacies. The space is limited for dine-in but when it comes to food, they will surprise you by their authentic dishes. Prawn tawa fry and curries were awesome, kothu parotta could have been better. The portion are enough, affordable and tastier."

"Arguably the best Kerala food you could possibly find in Mumbai! 😍
Contrary to some of the reviews I read below, I personally found the service great and the owners very calm and non intrusive.
Located at a very peaceful location with ample parking space, the ambience is great, the restaurant is fully air conditioned, and extremely clean!"

"We stumbled upon The Coconut Kitchen while driving through Mankhurd, and it was a delightful surprise! This cozy little spot may be small, but it serves up big flavors with its authentic Kerala cuisine. Every dish was a treat, but here are our must-tries: the Kerala veg meal, Chicken Kizhi Parotta (highly recommended!), Chicken Biryani, boneless Chicken Fry, Appam, Mutta Appam, Chicken Stew, and the Prawns Tawa Fry. The lemon soda, served with chia seeds and mint, was incredibly refreshing too.
If you’re in the mood for some Chinese-inspired options, their Chicken 65 and Chicken Satay were spot-on as well. We came to know this place was a cloud kitchen for three years from the owner. Sanju. She herself makes all the secret . A wonderful place for an authentic Kerala food experience in Mumbai!"

"Horrible Experience with Kerala Coconut Kitchen and Swiggy - Never Again!
I had the misfortune of ordering from Kerala Coconut Kitchen through Swiggy, and it was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
**1. Late Delivery & Damaged Packaging:**
The delivery was not on time, and to make matters worse, the Chicken Chettinad I ordered arrived with the package completely broken from the bottom. Everything was spilled inside the delivery bag. The delivery boy acknowledged the mess and advised me to complain to both Swiggy and the restaurant owner.
**2. Poor Food Quality:**
When I finally got to taste what was left of the food, the chicken was tough and of terrible quality. It was supposed to be 500ml (full according to the meny) but they packed it in a small, cheap plastic box that couldn’t have been more than 250ml (some kind of sweets plastic Box) . It’s clear they’re cutting corners and misleading customers about portion sizes.
**3. Rude and Unhelpful Restaurant Owner:**
I called the restaurant to report the issues, and the owner was shockingly rude. Instead of addressing my concerns, he argued with me for 15-20 minutes, refused to acknowledge the poor quality, and blamed the delivery guy for the packaging problem. His exact words were, “Do whatever you want, we will not refund the money.”
**4. Nightmare Customer Service with Swiggy:**
Contacting Swiggy’s customer service was another ordeal. There’s no direct way to call them, and the chat system is mostly automated. I had to go through the emergency chat, where after a lengthy explanation, they transferred me to another department. The new agent called me, but after explaining everything again, he disconnected the call and told me on chat to write an email to Swiggy for further assistance. If email is the solution, why bother with chat at all? It’s an incredibly frustrating and inefficient process.
**Final Verdict:**
For ₹429 (food) plus ₹124 (delivery fees), ₹27 (Taxes) I expected a decent meal and service. Instead, I got food that wasn’t even worth ₹60, along with a headache. I’ll never order from Kerala Coconut Kitchen again, and Swiggy needs to seriously rethink its customer service strategy."
