"Arya Niwas in Trivandrum is a highly recommended vegetarian restaurant near the central railway station, known for its authentic Kerala cuisine served from breakfast to meals and lunch. The restaurant is popular among locals and tourists alike, with many auto drivers endorsing it as a must-visit spot. The place maintains excellent cleanliness and provides quick, attentive service with both male and female servers attending to guests. Warm water is always served, adding a touch of traditional hospitality, and a selection of sweets is available, making it a great option for gifting.
The breakfast menu is particularly noteworthy. The vada here is crispy and fresh, perfectly complementing the strong, flavorful filter coffee. Their masala dosa is a favorite, featuring a well-spiced potato filling inside a crisp, golden dosa served with coconut chutney and sambar. The idlis are soft and fluffy, showcasing consistent quality and taste. Additionally, the masala puri serves as a spicy, delicious snack that stays true to Kerala's flavor profile.
The ambiance at Arya Niwas is comfortable with clean seating arrangements both in air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned sections. The location’s convenience near the railway and bus stations makes it a frequent stop for travelers wanting a quick and satisfying meal. Despite its popularity and steady crowd, the service remains efficient, ensuring guests do not wait long. Reasonably priced, Arya Niwas offers great value for money along with genuine Kerala vegetarian flavors, making it a must-try in Trivandrum. This restaurant perfectly blends tradition, taste, and service to create a memorable dining experience."
"First of all, the food is very expensive here. Just to idlis and one vada will cost you Rs. 100. One cup of tea costs ₹40. It is too much for a vegetarian restaurant.
Also, all the staff are in a hurry. They are not even ready to hear what you want. They will just run to get the food even before you complete your instructions.
Also, I asked for just idlis and specifically told that I don't need vada along with that. But they brought in one vada along with two idlis. I did not care to cancel it as I did not want anybody else to get that vada which has been on my plate.
I was not at all full after having the food from here, but I could not afford to order anything more due to prices. 🙏"

"Arya Nivas is the best vegetarian restaurant in Trivandrum. I’ve tried South Indian food at many vegetarian places across the city, but I always find myself coming back here. The food is consistently delicious, always fresh, and absolutely worth the price. Quality and taste never disappoint — highly recommended!"

"This hotel is infamous for the price it charges.
150 ml chaya costed 43 rs! And the same qtty of badam milk costed us 65 rs.
One plate idly costed 70 rs. It had only 2 idlies!
I thought deeper about why they must charge these much - source material is ordinary, ambiance is average . May be they must have bought raja ravi verma xerox for heavy price and must ve charging the visitors for showcasing this!
Service was poor too. Slow delivery of food. If you are in a rush, dont go there.
Only advantage is elevator parking which they must have built by selling “poor” idlies to “luxurious” people,
Food is okay. Thats all."

"As expected the food was great, had ghee roast and curd Vada, coffee. The AC restaurant was not packed like last time. Good customer service. Will definitely recommend."
