"Lila restaurant offers delicious croissants, kandhari prawns, and a variety of cakes, as well as a full English breakfast and other brunch options. They also highlight the beautiful, traditional building with a cozy and inviting ambiance, and the friendly and welcoming staff. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal and soak in some creativity.
The Lila cafe, a 200 year old dutch mansion converted to a heritage restaurant blending art, culture and a boutique shop is more than just food. The spacious & quant ambience resonates with the old worldly charm of fort kochi. With more than 25 non-veg dishes handpicked for the spread, the effort of the team upfront had to be admired and praised.
The lack of suitable parking space was a downside.
The decor and ambiance of Cafe Lila are incredibly beautiful and artistic, making it feel like a gallery."
"Beautiful spaces to sit and work from. The service is good and the food is excellent, from the eggs benedict with beef to pastries and granola bowl. They don't have many black coffee options, but the coffee they serve is good.
We visited in December. Not sure how comfortable the space will be during summer."

"Saw Lila Café all over Instagram and decided to try it with my family. The place is lovely — a 400-year-old Dutch building with a menu influenced by Portuguese, Dutch and Kerala cuisine. It definitely sets the mood well. We booked for 7.30 pm through EazyDiner.
But the experience did not really match the buzz online.
We wanted to check a couple of dishes before ordering — just to know what they were like or how spicy they would be. The answer we got was simply “these are running items,” with no real guidance. So we ordered a little blindly.
The menu mentioned that you can upgrade to a pitcher for Rs 150 extra. When we asked for it, we were told pitchers cannot be served because “glasses are not available.” That was confusing, to say the least.
Also, despite EazyDiner showing multiple card offers, the café said they accept only Google Pay.
Overall, it is a pretty space to visit once, but for us, the experience felt quite average and not worth the hype."
