"The internal décor and lighting were pleasant, creating a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant clearly invested in its interiors, which initially raised expectations.
On arrival, the staff placed a few shot glasses on our table, calling them “welcome drinks.” However, only 4 drinks were served for a group of 13 guests. It was only after we asked that more were brought. This left a poor first impression of hospitality and attentiveness.
- Overall: The food was below average considering the price point.
- Chicken Parmigiana: The chicken itself was acceptable, but nothing memorable. The accompanying spaghetti was sticky, lacked freshness, and felt reheated rather than freshly prepared. When pulled, the entire portion clumped together, showing poor consistency and no flavor.
- Highlight: Unfortunately, there was no dish that stood out positively.
👎
When I raised concerns about the spaghetti, the manager asked what was wrong. I demonstrated the issue, and he offered to re-cook the same dish. I declined, as the experience had already soured. There was no apology, no compensation, and no effort to make amends.
Despite the nice ambience, the service lapses, poor food quality, and lack of accountability from management make this restaurant not worth visiting."
"This review is being made after my third visit. Let's start with the ambience- They have a very green ambience with good lighting and classy decor. It gives you a premium dine in experience. Now onto the food they start with a shot of their special mocktail have tried 3 flavors and all of them have been quite good and different from what's usually available everywhere. Most of our orders have been oriental dishes except for the Paneer dishes for the vegetarians in the group. Their Peking Rice and Burnt Garlic Butter fried rice were standouts. I was half afraid that the flavour of butter might be quite evident as I don't quite like it but didn't cause an issue for me. I also loved their Schezwan seafood fried rice, Schezwan chicken noodles, Thai Fried rice and Pad Thai. Though their Hibachi fried rice with a slight smoky flavour, American chopsuey and kashmiri pulao with is sweet flavour wasn't to my taste but was appreciated by others in the group. All the curries I had were pretty good. But if you're fan of desserts don't make the mistake of ordering too much from the main course like we did and having absolutely no room for dessert (The portions for fried rice are quite generous and enough for two) A few people in our group have sworn to visit again just for the dessert. We first had some like it hot then Baked Alaska next the sticky toffee pudding followed by a Pistachio kunafa pull me up. Each dessert was our favourite until the next one turned up. The Pistachio Kunafa pull me up was my favourite. Some of these desserts are not available as takeaway and can only be had in the restaurant unfortunately. In total had a great experience and I'd recommend visiting with a lot of people as it means you get to try more stuff- my personal experience . Especially since their menu is absolutely wonderful with some unique offerings that are hard to come by elsewhere. If you're looking for a good place to take someone on a date just taking her here to eat only the desserts would certainly keep her smiling."

"Tried the Seafood Sizzler, Chicken Steak with Mushroom Sauce, and Grilled Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce.
The seafood in the sizzler was cooked to perfection—the prawns were not rubbery at all.
The mushroom sauce was spot on, the chicken well done, and the mashed potatoes perfectly made. It was a really good steak.
The grilled fish was very well deboned, the sauce heavenly, and the portion quite adequate.
The beverages were good too. I really enjoyed the rosemary flavor in the Hibiscus Rosemary; the Lychee Delight had a real lychee kick with a milky twist—it was different. The Mint Mojito was just like any other.
Price-wise, it's slightly high but worth it for the great taste.
The ambiance was good, but Kochi mosquitoes have found their way here too..."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Talk of the Town, and I can confidently say this restaurant lives up to its name. The cuisine here is absolutely exceptional. Every dish that arrived at our table was bursting with flavor and clearly prepared with care and expertise. What truly sets Talk of the Town apart is its atmosphere, which goes beyond ordinary dining. The ambiance strikes that perfect balance between elegant and welcoming. The lighting, music, and décor all work together to create a space where you want to linger and savor the experience. The staff here deserves special recognition. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. Chicken Stroganoff is a must try👌"
"My experience at Top of the Town was extremely disappointing.
The service was very poor. Even after repeatedly asking, tissue paper was never provided, which is basic service at any restaurant. The burger served was not according to what was mentioned on the menu, which is misleading and unacceptable.
What made the experience worse was the seating issue. Despite the name Top of the Town, we were not allowed to sit at the top floor at all. Instead, we were forcefully asked to move downstairs, without any proper explanation or choice given.
Overall, the service, food accuracy, and customer handling were below standard. I would not recommend this place unless there is significant improvement in both service and management behavior."
