"Tried the creamy chicken Alfredo pasta and the prawns biriyani from here. The pasta was super creamy and flavorful, but felt slightly overpowering because of how rich and heavy it was. The prawns biriyani, however, was just average and didn’t feel worth the price. It only had four pieces of prawn, which were cooked well, but the biriyani had too much masala which overpowered the actual biriyani flavour.
The dining experience and ambience were really beautiful—calm, well-decorated, and relaxing. The service was also good, making the overall experience pleasant despite the mixed food experience."
"Had a truly memorable vegetarian lunch at Rasoi. The food was full of flavour, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was perfect. This is a must-try spot for great North Indian cuisine in Fort Kochi.
Our order highlights:
Hot and Sour Veg Soup: A zesty and warming start, with the perfect balance of spice and tang.
Masaladar Peri Peri Paneer Tikka: Absolute standout dish! The paneer was incredibly soft, marinated in a delicious, bold Peri Peri masala, and perfectly grilled with a smoky char.
Veg Kolhapuri: A rich, authentic, and wonderfully spicy curry that paired beautifully with the breads.
Paneer Tikka Biriyani: Aromatic and satisfying. The rice was light, and the paneer tikka pieces added a lovely depth of flavour.
Garlic Naan & Butter Roti: Served fresh and hot, ideal for scooping up the gravy.
Virgin Mojito & Sweet and Salt Lime Soda: Both were perfectly refreshing drinks to cut through the richness of the meal.
Overall, excellent quality and authentic taste. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal!"

"Murgh Lababdar pulled me right into Emperor Jahangir’s kitchen. Charcoaled chicken with the creamy curry was top notch. Lemon coriander Soup was a perfect start.
We loved Sheekh Kebabs, Breads too.."
"Rasoi in Fort Kochi, located at 1/641 Rose Street near St. Francis Church, is one of the best places for delicious North Indian vegetarian food, offering flavourful dishes like rich veg curries, Kolhapuri-style gravies, and soft rotis, naan, and parathas. The restaurant has a charming colonial-style ambience with an inviting rooftop seating area and friendly, attentive staff, making it perfect for both hostellers and travelers exploring the area. Its location is ideal for combining a meal with nearby attractions such as Fort Kochi Beach, Chinese Fishing Nets, Jew Town, Dutch Palace, and St. Francis Church, all within walking distance. Overall, Rasoi is a great choice for enjoying authentic, well-prepared vegetarian food during a Fort Kochi visit.
Very good choice for vegetarians in Fort Kochi who want North Indian fare.
The roti and bread range is solid, and the gravies are flavorful.
Ambience is heritage-style, relaxing, and slightly elevated — not just a tourist trap.
Service is friendly, and the price is reasonable for a sit-down place in Fort Kochi."
